Hi there. Today is ANZAC Day and what a lovely day for the march. This morning I went on a walk on my usual route by the river. There weren’t many people about and it was nice to pass another walker or cyclist. At 7.30am it was much colder than what I’ve been used to and my ears and fingers hurt with the frosty feel. Looks like early walks will require hats and gloves.
I arrived home to a cooked breakfast, what a treat.
Have a good day.
Hi to anyone who is still reading.
This week I did a bike ride, mowed the lawn, walked to the supermarket and pulled my rather heavy trolley home, walked to the shops and this morning I walked the neighbour’s dog, dropped her back home then went on a 40 minute walk on the track by the river. I do something each day, whether big or small. But I really had the urge to go on a good walk and today I did that. If I don’t do a solid walk every couple of days, my body seems to crave it. I feel good now. Hope you’re all enjoying this gorgeous autumn weather. Bye for now.
WEEK 12/DAY 6 – GET FIT PLAN
Hi everyone. Today one of my daughters walked in a street parade so we all went along. It was a fabulous walk with bands and lots of other participants. And it is such a beautiful day. My other daughter couldn’t believe that she had walked so far. I might be able to get them out more often on foot.
Tomorrow is the last day of the 12 week program. Until then…
Hi everyone. It’s turned a bit chilly in the mornings but I soon warmed up on my walk. I did the standard, walking track then back home via the street. As I walked along the river a duck had its sights set on getting to the water and he came in just past my face. Luckily we didn’t get up close and personal.
I also met a little dog who was happy and friendly but he wasn’t with anyone. I gave him a pat and thought that if he followed me I’d have to sort out what to do with him. He followed me for a short way and then busied himself in the grass. I called him again but he didn’t come. He had a collar on but no tag. I hope that he lived nearby or that someone else might help him.
So as my final week draws to a close, I will soon make up my own rules. Stay tuned!
WEEK 12/DAY 4 – GET FIT PLAN
Hi everyone. I finished work on a manuscript and couldn’t wait to post it. It took 10 minutes to walk to the post office and then I went to the supermarket. I didn’t need much, thank goodness, and carried my small bag of shopping home. It took one hour and five minutes from start to finish, althought that included taking one call on my mobile. It was such a lovely day that I enjoyed having the sun warm me up. So I saved petrol and did my exercise all in one. Have a good day.
WEEK 12/DAY 2 – GET FIT PLAN
Morning everyone. I’ve been on my walk and for whatever reason, I felt a bit pooped. I think I had too many stops and starts. To begin with I walked to the post box and got rid of a letter that seemed to stick to me. For days I kept taking it with me and kept forgetting to post it. Well this morning it found its way into the box. Then I walked to the jeweller to get three watches seen to. From there I walked to Gloria Jeans and brought my coffee home which I am now sipping on. I hope my jelly-like feeling subsides soon. Anyhow, have a good day.
WEEK 11/DAY 7 – GET FIT PLAN
Morning everyone. After a sleep in I went on my walk at 9am. It was already hot but it felt good to be treading my usual track. There were lots of walkers out, most with dogs. Now I have to get ready as I’m heading off for lunch with a couple of friends who I catch up with annually. I’ve got an hour’s drive to our meeting place at a winery. So must dash, have a good day.
